I've received a recall notice. What does a "recall" mean?

Answer

A recall indicates that another borrower has requested the item, and, as a result we are asking for it back earlier. A recalled item may generate a new earlier due date. A textbook is more likely to be in demand and recalled.

Please return recalled items promptly or contact us immediately if there is a problem; late returns will attract fines of $3 per day per item.

Check your Library dashboard regularly for high demand items that may be recalled. If you are going away, return all Library books before you go or arrange for someone to return a recalled item on your behalf.

Ngā mihi
